June 24, 2024 by Steve Kerschke, PT
We’re thrilled to announce the recent publication by Kelsey Wagner and Karen Hux, shedding light on the diagnostic and treatment challenges of acquired stuttering in young adults. Their case report showcases the remarkable outcomes achieved through a person-centered telerehabilitation program. Notably, they documented significant improvements in speech production for an 18-year-old with postconcussive acute-onset stuttering. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating traditional fluency management within a person-centered framework. Exceptional work, Kelsey and Karen! Read more about their research here.
