PODCAST: In it for the Long Haul with Bob and Nancy Gardner

Backed by decades of experience producing exceptional clinical outcomes, Kintinu Telerehab connects recovery to everyday life. In this podcast, we explore hot topics in rehabilitation, the keys to personal growth and recovery, and how to apply it all to the real-world.

In this episode of Kintinu’d Conversations, Brad Dexter, Claire Thelen, and Tim Benak welcome Bob and Nancy Gardiner to the podcast. An otherwise-healthy Omahan, Bob suddenly lost all function below the shoulders. His paralysis resulted from an extremely rare neurological disorder called Guillain-Barré syndrome.

The initial diagnosis was bleak, but after more than five years of perseverance and focused training, Bob has defied the odds. Now walking, driving, and participating in an intense functional fitness class multiple times a week, Bob shows that no mountain is too steep to climb, and that no goal is too lofty to reach.

You can learn more about the Gardiner’s journey here.

Enjoy!
