What if I have technical issues?

We have an in-house technical support team to assist you with any troubleshooting needs. If you have difficulty accessing the video platform or get disconnected from a session, please contact us.

What do I do in the case of an emergency?

Kintinu Telerehabilitation is not designed to handle emergency treatment.  Should something happen during a treatment session, our team will assist you in accessing immediate professional attention.

Is my personal health information kept private?

Confidentiality is very important to us. We follow the same strict security protocols as you would expect from any reputable provider. All medical records are kept in a secure environment, and we do not share the information with anyone outside of the client’s specific request or as required by law. The video platform is HIPAA compliant, and we employ strict encryption methods to ensure your privacy. 

What are my payment options?

We accept credit, debit, or HSA cards, check, and PayPal.

Can I utilize my health insurance?

We accept worker’s compensation, some private insurance plans and private pay. We are actively enrolling with new health insurance providers and employers. Please contact us to see if your plan is accepted. If not, we can provide you with a super bill. Reimbursement will vary, so it is important to check with your insurance first. State Medicaid and Medicare are not accepted at this time.

How much does virtual therapy cost?

The cost of a formal assessment and regular visit varies depending on your insurance provider.

How long does a virtual therapy session last?

The initial assessment lasts approximately 60 minutes. A typical treatment session lasts between 30 and 60 minutes.

Is there bilingual assistance provided?

Yes. Interpreters are provided upon request.

Where will my session occur?

Therapy sessions can occur virtually anywhere. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a front-facing camera and cellular service or WiFi capability. We recommend treatment sessions occur in the setting that best matches your program.

How do I access my treatment session?

All sessions are completed using video conferencing technology. Prior to your appointment, you will receive a link to join the video call as well as any specific information necessary for the treatment session that day. At the time of your session, click the link to join, and your clinician will accept you into the treatment session.

Will I be able to schedule recurring appointments? If so, how far in advance can I schedule?

Yes. After the assessment process, our therapy team will recommend an appropriate frequency and duration of services. Therapy sessions will be scheduled on days and times that work best for you.

Can I utilize this service outside of the United States?

Kintinu Telerehab services are not currently available outside of the United States.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Complete the contact form on our website or call (402) 210-5700 to set up an appointment. Please be prepared to share a basic medical history and desired goals for treatment.

Which disciplines are offered?

Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Psychology.

Will I be speaking with a licensed clinician?

Yes. All sessions are completed by a licensed clinician employed by Kintinu Telerehab. 

What are the common conditions treated through telerehabilitation?

We specialize in the treatment of physical, cognitive, social, and emotional conditions for clients who have suffered a brain injury, a spinal cord injury, or limb loss.

Who is a good candidate for telerehabilitation?

QLI Telerehabilitation provides specialized, therapeutic rehabilitation for individuals with simple and complex diagnoses at the outpatient level of care. We specialize in treating orthopedic conditions as well as limb loss, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other neurological injuries.
