Jodi Palensky

Psychologist

Positive, compassionate, upbeat and committed. Jodi is a licensed psychologist, public speaker, consultant, and avid volunteer who mentors others to lead rich, full, and balanced lives. Jodi has vast experience working with individuals and families coping with traumatic and chronic illness and injury having worked in the field of rehabilitation since 2000. Though a native Nebraskan, she currently resides in Portland, Oregon, where she loves to spend time on the beach, hike, garden, read, and enjoy nature. She is a proud mother of two children and still believes “There’s No Place Like Nebraska.”

Brad Dexter

Physical Therapist, PT, DPT

Skilled in neuromuscular therapy, clinical research, and brain and spinal cord injury rehab, Brad proves virtual care is a powerful and effective approach. He consults and speaks nationally on various topics in the field, and his deep, clinical knowledge, experience with athletic training, and passion for teaching sets him apart. Brad also has a passion for music and is an avid sports enthusiast and outdoorsman. Often tackling renovation projects around the house, he is a handy-man at heart whenever he’s not camping and taking road trips with his family to national parks throughout the country.

Kelsey Wagner

Speech-Language Pathologist, CCC-SLP

Upholding our “Lead Like Lasso” value, Kelsey has a knack for bringing out the best in others with her winning combination of heart and humor along with her infectious optimism and energy. Inherently curious, she is an avid reader who is passionate about learning and dedicated to honing her craft as a speech-language pathologist. Kelsey’s areas of expertise include brain and spinal cord injury, cognitive communication disorders, and language disorders in adults. On a personal note, she adores her 7-year-old rescue dog, Maverick and loves being outside canoeing, running, skiing, and ice skating.

Melissa Anderson

Occupational Therapist, OTR-L, OTD

Mel, a graduate of Creighton University, joined QLI in 2013. Her infectious attitude, unique skill set, and creative approach contribute to the impact she makes as an influential leader and expert in her field. Mel is the Vice President of the Neuro-Rehab section for the Nebraska Occupational Therapy Association, a certified LoveYourBrain yoga instructor, and enjoys presenting on the topics of telehealth as well as brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. When she’s not traveling with her husband, Mel never misses an opportunity to celebrate a birthday…for an entire month!

Kathy Dervin

Clinical Psychologist, PsyD

Completing her undergraduate studies at Loyola University Chicago, Dr. Dervin earned her doctoral degree in Psychology from Spalding University and completed her post-doctoral training at St. George’s University in Grenada. Despite her love for snorkeling and scuba diving, Kathy joined our team in 2018 and specializes in treating the effects of catastrophic injury and chronic pain. Since the ocean is no longer an option, she spends her free time exercising and playing golf and tennis. Kathy is also an ex-jump rope champion (albeit in 6th grade), so we’re anxiously awaiting the invite to her next Double Dutch competition!

Steve Kerschke

Program Director

Beginning his career as a physical therapist, Steve has “grown up” with our parent company, QLI, and is our steadying force. Recognized as a Midlands Business Journal 40 under 40 recipient, he combines his marketing experience and clinical background to guide all aspects of the Kintinu business. Outside the office, he’s with his two boys on the ball field, the basketball court, or at the local fishing hole. He’s even passed down his love (bad habit) of buying up the newest Nike sneakers. His competitive spirit shines through on the golf course, but he makes up for all the bad shots playing corn hole after the round.

Claire Thelen

Coordinator

Claire leverages her diverse experience in business and healthcare to develop and implement operational initiatives for Kintinu. Balancing curiosity, creativity, and ambition, she also makes an impact by offering unique, yet valuable solutions to shape the direction of the organization. A true renaissance woman, she enjoys photography, baking, surfing Zillow, and vying for “Aunt of the Year.” There’s no chance she’ll fall short there (just ask her niece, Carol), but perhaps being known as a “Jill of all trades” is just as fitting!

Scott Meyers

Chief Technology Officer

Scott cut his teeth in the technology space while working for the Naval Ocean System in San Diego, CA. Eventually he found his way back to Omaha where he owned and co-ran a successful technology consulting business. Now, Scott uses his technological expertise and entrepreneurial mindset to help Kintinu deliver and scale our services nationally. His love for cycling, hiking, golfing, and spending time with family rivals his enthusiasm for Batman and other superheroes. Scott would jump at the chance to visit Gotham City, but there’s a better chance he helps us build a smart city someday. Holy gigabytes Batman!

Holly Smith

Funding and Reimbursement Specialist

Drawing on her education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she studied Finance, Holly is instrumental in supporting the back end of the business. A curious growth seeker, you can often find her with her nose in an interesting book or fueling her passion for serving and helping others by volunteering her time and talent both in the workplace and the community. Holly has a love for the outdoors and enjoys discovering new adventures on trails and parks with her family and friends.
